I like how this painting manages combine fully belonging in contemporary painting currents yet without any compromising the timeless nature of its subject matter. I guess this is where abstraction meets surrealism/symbolism in a way, but labels aside the result is simply a very interesting and highly stimulating composition for the viewer to engage and fill with their own meanings. (To me it's in a curious way reminding of some Asian religious iconography )
The piece is in oil and etching inks on primed mdf wood board. Signed on the front bottom right, comes framed in a black wooden foatframe and ready to hang
