“Ascending” features a vertical rectangular form, not unlike an angel, with strong contrasts between black and white. The dense, textured black strokes frame a central white area, which has a rough, almost weathered appearance due to intentional uneven brushwork or scraping techniques. The black surrounds the white in a way that both contains and emphasizes the lighter central form, creating a sense of depth and tension within the composition. The stark linearity and abstraction offer a raw and almost primal aesthetic that evokes a contemplative mood.

Ascending is painted with acrylic on a 24 x 48 inch hardboard panel, professionally finished and ready to frame. It comes carefully packaged and shipped in a crate or heavy duty cardboard box for maximum protection. Accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
