Description

This painting emerged through a quiet, attentive process—one that allowed memory, material, and restraint to guide each decision. Layered tones of deep brown, softened neutrals, and subtle abrasion create a landscape that feels both interior and expansive. Vertical gestures interrupt the surface like traces of movement or breath, suggesting presence without insisting on narrative.

As It Is, Again invites slow looking. Its strength lies in what is held back as much as what is revealed, offering space for reflection, stillness, and personal resonance. The work continues my exploration of abstraction as a language for what exists beneath memory, emotion, and form.

The painting’s subtle texture and layered strokes evoke land, mist, and movement while resisting literal form. It is contemplative by nature, designed to draw the viewer closer, inviting them into a space where time loosens and perception softens.

Until You See Me is a meditation on emergence: a slow unfurling from obscurity into presence. It is the moment right before recognition — when you finally see what was always there.
