- As chance would have it
Original artwork description
Painting inspired by the will of chance.
We all have desires, we would like certain projects of ours to come true.
Many times it's a coincidence... how many times do we tell ourselves this? As luck would have it…
Well, the case must be helped, it must be fueled with a series of actions on our part, actions which bring about the occurrence of that case, which could realize our project.
This nice girl, wearing a hat, does the action of concentrating, thinking intensely about making her wish come true, and ultimately finding a solution. The painting should be observed from right to left or, if we want, from left to right, reversing the actions: contentment with thinking about one's desire, thinking about it intensely and making an effort to achieve it.
But behind it we also see two shadows of the little girl, two shadows who observe and try to take the case which is represented by a floating dice. What better to represent chance than a six-sided die?
