The river flows, from high to low and back again, out to sea, from the hills. Life flows from youth forwards, from highs to lows, from vast landscapes to intimate places. The South Stoke hamlet on the banks of the River Arun is one such intimate place set amongst the sweeping open space of the South Downs.
