Constellation of Aries
Homage to Leonardo da Vinci.
A little bizarre attempt to propose my version of the constellations, paying homage, in my own way, to one of my favorite painters in each one. A little creative game!
The choice to pair the sign of Aries with the enigmatic smile of the Mona Lisa is no coincidence for me, but is deeply rooted in my childhood and a deeper connection with the constellation itself. As a child, this masterpiece by Leonardo da Vinci was the painting that more than any other captured my imagination, hypnotizing me with its mystery and timeless aura.
The reason I associated the Mona Lisa with Aries lies in some qualities that, in my perception, unite the painting and the zodiac sign. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, a symbol of beginnings, vitality, boldness, and pioneering strength. The Mona Lisa, for me, strikingly embodies these characteristics. It is a work that marked a new beginning in Renaissance art, a bold innovation in portraiture with its direct gaze and elusive smile that always seems to conceal something new to be discovered. There is an almost primordial strength in its expression, a silent vitality that makes it eternal and ever-present, just like the indomitable and avant-garde energy of Aries.
