I’m a big fan of having a few indoor plants in my home. I love the jagged shape and texture of this plant playing against the background. In the pot, I've tried to capture the light of the vermilion red/orange in a sculptural impasto application. The pot becomes tactile and describes the hexagonal planes of the surface.
