Original artwork description:

In 2020, I came across a vintage photograph of the skeleton of a giant tortoise and a human standing next to it. The height of the man was hardly half the height of the skeleton. It impressed me a lot.
The photo turned out to be a mounted skeleton of fossil turtle, Archelon, which is located in the Peabody Museum of Natural History, Yale University. Specimen is more than twelve feet long, with estimated weight of three tons. Impressive, isn't it? :)
I decided to draw a skeleton with half a plastron, because I wanted to show the bones inside the body.

Size: 29.7x42, watercolor on paper
