Original artwork description
When I approached the canvas, my goal was not merely to replicate the scene, but to capture the fleeting emotional energy of that specific moment—to translate a fleeting, subjective experience into a tangible, permanent form. The brushstrokes in this piece are intentionally thick and layered, allowing me to build texture that mirrors the chaotic yet beautiful energy of the subject matter. By utilizing a palette of colors, e.g., vibrant ochres and muted indigoes, I wanted to create a dialogue between the light and the dark, forcing the viewer to confront the same juxtaposition I felt while working. Every stroke was an act of "finding" rather than searching, focusing on the way the light reflected to create an atmosphere of, and sometimes, intense, almost overwhelming, quietude. This painting is less a documentation of reality and more an intimate, therapeutic, and honest look into my own consciousness at the time of creation.
