'Aqua Garden' is a mixed media work incorporating polymer inks, acrylic paint, metallic gold paint and polymer glazing. This painting was inspired by an Australian garden by the beach. It is a detailed painting with colour crossing over one another to create effect. This is a painting to express how nature is free to do whatever it wants, without expectations. It is specific to the colours of Australian gardens and how they intertwine creating a dance of their own. It is not intended to be too literal and so allows you to see whatever you can find. I have used gold highlights to give it an impression of the water glistening in the sun.
This artwork is highlighted with metallic gold paint. Gold brings abundance, mental balance, and vitality. It helps learning and with the realization of self-potential. It will bring success, happiness, enthusiasm, and power. It will fill your life with comfort, kindness, and magic, making you more attuned to nature and the people around you. So being able to splash gold freely is a wonderful feeling of freedom.
