Seed bombs is a series of artworks with ecological orientation, focused on planting. A documentary imagining or explaining how cities would bloom if men disappeared, and the positive side of this eventuality, was the primary inspiration. An artwork which could include seeds, and bloom in such a disastrous case, was a charming thought. Next, I found myself studying arboriculture books, contemporary diy planting ideas, even imagining a ministry of bees taking care of organizing a plantation system. All these thoughts are mixed up in a playful collage of arboricultural notes, stamps from formal bee authorities, topographical charts, actual seeds, paintings and drawings of plants, all placed on a surface of homemade paper clay.

Materials used:

printed craft paper, fabric, seeds, marker, acrylic paint, papier mache
