My second painting of this view of the beautiful Anstruther Harbour in Fife, Scotland. I had a studio near there a few years ago and often return to the area. It is a wonderful place and will always remain a source of inspiration for painting.
This is quite a large painting and would make a good focus point in any room. It is my interpretation of Anstruther Harbour and hopefully it may remind the viewer of that place if he or she has ever visited it and remembers how varied the place looks in different kinds of weather. It is always different.
