Original artwork description
One day I posted my new artwork on my Facebook account and asked my followers if they recognized the place depicted in the painting. It was a landscape with a romantic view of the seashore in Montenegro.
I was sure that most people would easily recognize this place, but I was wrong, as it turned out. The comments included Türkiye, Croatia, Italy and even Russia. And to my question about the similarity, one of my friends replied that “Mmmm... everyone has their own shores.”
And I thought, really, what difference does it make which shore is depicted in the original if it evokes pleasant and joyful memories?
And that’s why I decided to call my new painting “Shore Memories”.
The painting was created on a stretched canvas with the painting continued arround the edges of the piece.
The painting is ready to hang, no frame need.
