This painting was commissioned by a collector who originally fell in love with ‘Its A Beautiful Day! ‘ but it was already sold.
She asked me to create something very similar on a larger scale. I used layered washes of colour initially, then added texture using bold brushstrokes and palette knife. She was absolutely thrilled with the result!
