Anglesey Abbey, our local National Trust property, has extensive gardens that are magnificent and dramatically different in every season. There are many views here that are worth painting. I particularly enjoy walking and painting in winter. This piece, showing bare trees against a misty, frosty background, captures the atmosphere of those winter scenes..
