"Florida's Oldest Diner" as it is known is in a town called Palatka. I put a typical stormy sky in the background (it always rains when I go to Florida!) and painted it in a looser more impressionistic style. These classic diners are slowly disappearing.

Materials used:

oil on mdf board, gessoed on both sides.
