Artist's description:

Painted on-site at Boerner Botanical Gardens in Wisconsin. Features a hydrangea bush in full late summer bloom, with conical flower heads which transition from deep pink to pale pink and white at the tips. Below the hydrangea rest some hosta leaves, while a chipmunk scurries across the rocks. To the left can be seen a tall tree trunk covered in creeping vines, and the corner of a garden shed. Beautiful blue and blue-green foliage from lilac bushes and a rich blue sky fill the background, accented by purple flowers at the bottom right.
Framed in a 3" wide wood frame with a silver finish. May also be purchased without a frame.

Materials used:

canvas, oil paint, wood frame
