This beautiful mixed media winged heart piece was created using a variety of materials. I hand made the heart out of clay and then added the textured wings and swirl pattern. I gessoed, textured and then hand painted with creaming charcoal gray, black, and deep black and rubbed in a touch of metallic silver for a light shimmering effect. The frame is a vintage frame that I gessoed,textured and and applied the paint in the same way as the rest of the art. I topped if off with a light coat of spray varnish for protection. This is a very romantic piece, perfect for a shabby chic, cottage chic, boho, beach, or farm house decor style. This gorgeous and unique piece comes to you ready to hang.
