" I am a sailor, and I work on ships and get beaten for any reason, ... we see many cities...and smoke, because when you smoke you don't work... to drink and beat people with a plastic whip, cause it's fun..." That's what my cousin Andrew was telling me, till I was making this portrait of him and I scratched some of these words on the blue background of the image.

This drawing on paper is made in the mixed technique of carving on wax, tempera paint, and oil pencil. This complex technique has a multilayer image surface which creates the effect of coloristic vibration and interference. All necessary papers including the Certificate of Authenticity are added to the parcel.
