Original artwork description
The Fantasía Andina series of paintings are inspired by the cultural manifestations of the original Peruvian peoples, especially from the Andean region, as part of a personal investigation on the symbolic language of textiles and ceramics inherited by our ancestors. These elements are fused in my work with patterns, shapes and colours from the constant exploration of my own narrative expression, and my own identity.
