This is a slightly lesser known road in the city of Rome on the Aventine Hill. Clivio di Rocca Savella for centuries provided the main access to the Aventine, and became one of the most important streets in the ancient city of Rome.

I have painted it in an impressionist manner on an Italian canvas panel, signed and varnished.
