In this painting, I focus on the body as a vessel of emotion and inner awareness. The figure turns inward rather than confronting the viewer, folding into itself in a moment of introspection. Through this restrained yet tense posture, I aim to express a quiet dialogue between the self and the inner world.

I intentionally minimized facial details and worked within a near-monochrome grayscale palette, allowing form to emerge through line, mass, and rhythm. Repeated scraping, layering, and areas of raw surface create a sense of incompletion, inviting the viewer to feel not only the physical presence of the figure, but also the passage of time and thought within the painting.
