An English Icecream Parlour In The Afternoon (2024)Acrylic painting

£205

An ice cream parlour, a hot English afternoon, lazy, languid, heat absorbed in the red brick and baking slate. A few figures wonder by, surprised perhaps by the blessing of unexpected warmth. The work is rich in detail, colorful and cheerful, a wonderful addition to any collection of British art. Texture has been added to create extra depth. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished.

Materials used:

cotton and wood canvas, acrylic paint, paper/card, glue, clear varnish gloss
