It’s rare that I ever paint a scene that is inspired by something in America.... But these past few months while I have been waiting out my return to my home in France, I have walked almost everyday, around my neighborhood which is filled with loads of Charming Vintage Houses. Many are Craftsman Style or Victorian; some
basic Beach cottages, and some a Mansions that still boast a past glory. I have taken loads of photos of those that have details in their exterior that most charm me, and this image is a melange of several houses... This canvas is painted around the edges, so can be hung, unframed...
