I love Cherry Blossom! It falls like confetti on the floor and creates a pink carpet for you to walk on in the Spring. This painting was inspired after I recently stood under a very low hanging tree. The tree came down like one of those clear umbrellas that children used to have and the sunlight lit up the leaves from the inside. It made me think about what it would be like to stand under the Cherry Blossom tree in full bloom.

This painting is on box canvas, and continues around the sides so it's ready to hang on the wall. 2 coats of satin varnish are added for protection.
