Walking through a forest is a favourite thing of mine, and I especially love it when you leave the path and become lost in your green, leafy surroundings - especially when the sun is low and golden and the leaves shimmer with warmth and sparkling light.

This painting depicts just such a moment, as the light filtering through the upper branches shines through the nearby leaves and surrounds them with a soft glow.

Painted on a Windsor and Newton Canvas. Signed on the back and varnished. The edges of the painting are a crisp white. This painting will come to you with a certificate of authenticity. You might choose to hang it using the wooden canvas stretcher, or you might prefer to add a hanging wire. Alternatively you could add a frame of your choice.
