The sixth in my "Among the Trees" series which celebrates the green, calming surroundings of a forest.

Walking through a forest is a favourite thing of mine, and I especially love it when you leave the path and become lost in your green, leafy surroundings - especially when the sun is low and golden and the leaves shimmer with warmth and sparkling light.

This painting brings to mind the forest following rainfall, when the leaves are at their most heavy and luscious.

Painted on a Windsor and Newton Canvas. Signed on the back and varnished. The edges of the painting are a crisp white. This painting will come to you with a certificate of authenticity. You might choose to hang it using the wooden canvas stretcher, or you might prefer to add a hanging wire. Alternatively you could add a frame of your choice.
