In this work, I explore the phenomenon of inner light — that unchanging spark that remains protected and untouched, despite the chaos, dirt, and noise of the outside world. The painting presents a powerful contrast: dark, abstract brushstrokes and shadows along the edges symbolize external adversities and uncertainty, while the bright, almost glowing spot in the center draws the eye, illuminating the figures gathered around the table. It is a metaphor for a refuge, an island of calm and human connection that we create within ourselves and around us, no matter how fiercely the storm rages outside. The work is executed in a unique technique that conveys texture and emotional depth
