A mystical and ethereal landscape painted in oils in a magenta and blue colour scheme, using a mix of brushes and palette knives. This work was painted during the early summer of 2024.
“THE WORLD BEYOND” SERIES STATEMENT
These works are from an ongoing series of works titled "The World Beyond" Using the landscape as a metaphor, these works take the viewer on a journey through swirling mists, organic forms and iridescent skies. Using a mixture of brushes and palette knives, these oil paintings capture light and movement, while maintaining a dynamic and dramatic atmosphere. They are meditations created to evoke a connectedness to the ethereal and transitory existence of the human experience within nature, through an otherworldly realm of shifting reality.
