40 x 50 cm (oval canvas) - paper and acrylic on canvas - 2023
I dreamed of oval canvases for a long time. In addition to having to find them, I also had to find THE subject that could coincide with this special format. And Amélia arrived, with her Victorian era looks and her impeccable head carriage. The challenge was difficult (painting beads??) but I'm very happy with the result. I wanted for this portrait very little paper, of a flamboyant color, to let the imagination run wild off-screen and manage the chiaroscuro that I love so much.
The canvas is varnished and equipped with a hanging system.
