Amber heart mallow - the third installment in my ongoing series of floral portraits. In this work, I wanted to capture the moment when light strikes the very center of a flower, revealing a warm, honey-like glow that reminds me of raw amber.
For me, this piece is about the quiet strength found in fragility and the hidden "gems" we find in nature's simplest forms.
