Medium: Acrylic on canvas
Dimensions: 80x40 cm (each canvas 40 x 40 cm)
Year: 2024
Support: Stretched canvas on wooden frame
Framing: Unframed (painted edges, ready to hang)
Style: Contemporary abstract, Minimalist

This diptych began with a movement—two flowing forms meeting and shifting across space, like energy traveling through color.

I worked on both canvases simultaneously, allowing them to evolve together as a single composition. One panel carries a more expansive gesture, where a vibrant orange flow cuts across cooler blue tones, while the second continues the rhythm in a more defined, wave-like motion.

The palette is built on contrast—deep blue, soft blue-grey, warm amber, glowing orange, and touches of beige and off-white. These colors interact across the surface, creating a sense of motion and direction, as if the forms are constantly unfolding.

I used both brush and palette knife, layering acrylic paint to create variations in texture. Some areas are smooth and fluid, while others hold visible depth where the paint has been built up and softened again. This gives the diptych a tactile presence that changes with light.

What I love most about this work is its sense of flow—how each panel responds to the other, creating a continuous visual movement across the wall. Together, they form a dynamic composition that feels both energetic and refined.

The size of each canvas (40 × 40 cm) makes this diptych versatile—it can be placed as a pair or slightly spaced to enhance the sense of expansion. It works beautifully in modern, contemporary, or minimalist interiors, bringing color, contrast, and movement into the space.

Created in 2024, this is a one-of-a-kind original artwork designed to become a focal point and transform the atmosphere of a room.
