Original artwork description
This drawing is created with colored inks.
It is part of the series SEA WAVES which are all created after memory or from imagination with the goal to create my own vision of natural phenomenon.
Drawing after memory combines imagination and visual memory which becomes open path to original and unconventional solutions exploring numerous variations between real and surreal.
In the very process in creating this series the motif of sea waves became the field of different possibilities for expressing my own internal visions.
In my work I constantly move between realistic and abstract concepts, which are in my opinion two sides of the same phenomena.
My main art practise explores classic techniques such as graphite, charcoal, ink, pastel, gouache and watercolor to combine it with a modern approach.
