This is an original artwork of an alligator seen at the Owahee Trail in West Palm Beach and subsequently painted. Interesting viewpoint of the oncoming reptile. You can tell the size of an alligator after seeing enough of them by the position of the eyes in relation to the size of the head. From this you can tell from this artwork this alligator was about 4 ft.
