Original artwork description
I painted "Alice in Montignac-Lascaux" as a reflection on a quiet moment when an old village street becomes the beginning of an inner journey.
I wanted the heroine not simply to walk along the path, but to carry with her a sense of anticipation and light.
The expressive brushstrokes of the trees and historic buildings convey the living breath of time that cannot be stopped.
The red rooftops bring warmth to the scene, while the tall stone walls faithfully preserve the memory of this French town.
I intentionally portrayed Alice as a small figure, for a person always seems modest in the presence of history and nature.
Rather than striving for precise detail, I sought to capture the sincerity of an impression born in every movement of the brush.
For me, color became the language of emotion, where the blue sky offers hope and the warm ochre tones fill the painting with comfort.
It was important for me to preserve the feeling of a gentle walk, behind which lies the desire to discover something new within oneself.
This painting is my tribute to travel, timeless architecture, and the beauty of fleeting moments.
I believe that every viewer can walk this path alongside Alice and discover a story of their own.
