Original artwork description:

“Alba” is a work made with the oil on board technique, it represents a seascape characterized by the colors blue and dark red during the dawn that in this work is represented by the figure of a little girl with her eyes closed that blows a light breeze that sweeps away the night and in its passage illuminates everything with an intense light. This symbolic figure almost seems like a ribbon moved by the wind and recalls the putti of Renaissance and Baroque painting. This work is part of my latest research collected in the Crossover series where the goal is to find a balance between the figurative and the abstract.

Materials used:

oil
