Again and again… and as many times as it takes.

Each piece has something to tell us, its own story. Most of the time it's not obvious, sometimes not even to me. Sometimes it's a simpler process, other times, as in this case, it's full of more complex content that demands to be revealed or materialized, but I'll try to explain.

It's more about an idea or concept that first develops in my mind, then moves to a process that begins to take shape on the canvas. It's a kind of transfer between the creator and what is being created until finally there's a conclusion, a result. And I think it's interesting to tell you, in my own words, a little about what has happened behind the scenes here. Or rather, what ideas or feelings have been swirling around in my head, without going into too much detail.

I believe that over time, for decades now, with the advancement of technology and the idea of constantly perfecting ourselves, we have gradually become hybrids, half human and half automaton, without even having time to recognize it, becoming increasingly dehumanized until today. Artificial Intelligence, in this frenetic pursuit of "perfection" where there is little room left for error, presents us with an image of a human being deprived of their own crucial learning tools, those acquired through mistakes, failures, and their own capabilities.

This widespread feeling of threat that assails and overwhelms us is not accidental, not coincidental. We, all to a greater or lesser degree, have arrived here. We cannot turn back time, and for the scales to be balanced again, we must reclaim our humanity, turn our gaze inward, give more importance to being and to feeling more human with ourselves, with our neighbors, and with our environment.

In these times when things are more difficult for us adults, but at the same time we are the ones with the most experience, we will have to remember it, record it and repeat it "Again and again"... and as many times as necessary.
