Artwork description:
This print was inspired by the big dramatic skies that gather over the Somerset Levels. My intention was to convey the sense of freshness that follows a storm. This has been achieved by mixing the printing inks with white and extender.
This is a reduction print which means the lino block is gradually destroyed with each stage of the process. Once the edition is complete no further impressions can be taken from the block.
Small limited editioni of 8 prints only.
Printed on Somerset Satin 250g paper using oil-based inks and an etching press and glass baren.
Please note, this print will be despatched flat within the UK and rolled to destinations outside the UK.
