I stood on the bank, listening to the slow flow of the river. The water, like transparent glass, took in the reflections of the sky and dark tree crowns, turning them into shaky shadows. A light breeze touched the surface, blurring the lines, and I wanted to convey this fragile moment when the world seems filled with the breath of silence.
I was not painting a landscape - I was painting peace. Each movement of the brush was an attempt to capture the invisible: the freshness of the damp grass near the bank, the soft light penetrating through the foliage, and the endless depth of silence dissolved in the air.
For me, this painting is a declaration of love for nature, its quiet power and ability to keep the peace within itself, which we so often seek in life.
