Original artwork description
A contemporary abstract landscape exploring atmosphere, shifting light, and open space. Soft layers of lavender, pale blue, muted peach, and cool grey create an expansive sky suspended above luminous wetlands and distant fields.
Built with expressive palette knife textures and painterly mark making, the work balances calmness with movement. The composition captures a fleeting transition in nature, that quiet moment after rain when light begins to soften across water and land.
This original oil painting combines impressionistic landscape language with contemporary abstraction, making it suitable for modern, minimalist, Scandinavian, coastal, and curated interiors.
