Happy spring..
We can just feel the daffodils bursting through the grass!
I love Saul Leiters work - this is a homage to one of his Vox-pop photographs from New York. The way that the light slides through the steamed up window provides an extra layer of abstraction - this creates drams and colour.
I built up the image by scumbling with layers of thin paint and finished it off by adding the finer detail,
