Original artwork description:
I bought these African violets in contrasting colours and decided they would be enhanced if I put them on this blue patterned cloth. This enabled me to produce this still life painting. The different shades of violets and purples inspired me to produce this pastel painting. The frame is white and it really compliments this painting. It has been shown at the Society of Women Artists, at the Mall galleries in London. I am a member of the prestigious Society of Women Artists.
