An African crane with a yellowish bristly crest, a mainly black or dark gray body, a lot of white on the wings, and pink and white cheeks.
I wrote this watercolor work in one breath in Ukraine in June 2023, immediately after the news about the Russian army blowing up the dam at the hydroelectric plant in the city of Nova Kakhovka. The money from the sale of this painting will be used to help the victims of this ecological disaster.
