The drawing was created on a beach of black volcanic sand with the participation of this volcanic sand, its imprints remained on the drawing.

The picture was painted on the beach with black during my plan air in the island Stromboli was n October 2024.

After the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine, I had to leave my country. I was reached by a kind Sicilian family, I was safe and even had the opportunity to see an incredible miracle: the eruption of a volcano. This picture shows the eruption of the Stromboli volcano, which has become more active in spewing lava from its vent this year.
I used a special professional French paper with a density of 300 grams and professional watercolours paints.
I am very concerned about the environment, so I try to use plastic and new cardboards as little as possible.
