Paul spent his junior and teen ages in the English Lake District and frequently returns to visit family, and hike across mountains and around lakes in Cumbria.
The county has a lasting impression on Paul, and Across to Rydal is an abstracted impression of mountain, stream and lake. Painted in Acrylic on box canvas, layers of texture and subtle blends have combined to create the feel of the rugged beauty of the atmospheric scenery.
