Original artwork description:

Painted after a visit to the beautiful Lindisfarne nature reserve in Northumberland.
I looked across the estuary towards the island as huge flocks of birds began circling and descending onto the sand and mud.
This is my largest painting in the collection to date. It can be hung as it is but would look good in a frame also.

Materials used:

acrylic paint
