Original artwork description
COLLABORATION PIECE!!!! I felt in love a couple of years back with the urban style of this awesome abstract artist, Toby Curtis, and we both decided to give it a go and work on a series of collab pieces, to see how the collectors react to our initiative... This is the first of three pieces we will work on in the coming months. I hope you like them.
This is part of the "People" series, inspired on a series of photographs I usually take when I see loads of people together in masses during their everyday routines. In this particular case, I got inspired on the thousands of photos I usually take at Liverpool Street Station in London.
These images awake in me the need of looking at things from another point of view: I’m not the only one living a life, I’m not the only one experiencing whatever I’m experiencing in a particular moment. While we tend to live individually or in couples or even in families, there is a lot more outside… Loads of parallel lives, loads of different points of view. The level of detail is outstanding and it's the kind of piece you can look at for hours and you'll still find something different.
Materials used:
Spray paint, Ink and Acrylic paint
Details:
- Mixed-media painting on Panel / Board / MDF
- One of a kind artwork
- Size: 50 x 52 x 3cm / 50 x 52cm (actual image size)
- Ready to hang
