Non-objective (non-figurative) art defines a type of abstract art that is usually, but not always, geometric and aims to convey a sense of simplicity and purity. Abstract art uses visual language of shape, form, color and line to create a composition which may exist with a degree of independence from visual references in the world. There have been numerous studies on the effect of color on the human psyche. They are too numerous and complex to go into here. Suffice it to recognize that we are affected by color, combinations of color and the shapes in which colors are offered. You may not realize it, but when you look at any work of art, your brain is telling you something.
Abstract #13 is a one of a kind, original work of art. It is produced using India ink and acrylic paint. I have stayed with my usual pallet of warm “earthy” colors.
The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.

. This painting will be ready to hang, out of the box. It is mounted on tempered masonite with a two inch wide painted wood frame. It will have a hanging strip on the back and I include a “monkey hook” for easy attachment to your wall. It can be on your wall within five minutes.
