This restful oil landscape allows you to drift off into your imagination.
Soft, translucent layers of oil paint have been gradually layered to create this delicate painting. The cool, fresh blue of the lake in the foreground, gives way to the mountains rising up and disappearing into the misty sunlight in the distance.
Oil paint on stretched canvas.
Edges of the canvas left a clean white (please see additional photo).
Strung and ready to hang.
Signed on the rear and Certificate of Authenticity provided.
Lizzie Butler is a contemporary British painter.
She has exhibited at Leighton House Museum, Kensington, London and at several London galleries. She has also exhibited internationally, with oil paintings shown in London galleries, Washington, USA and her etchings exhibited in Japan.
Her works are currently on show at the Amy Kaslow Gallery, Washington DC, and the Russell Gallery, London.
