A semi-abstract oil painting inspired by the drama of a coastal walk on a windy day.
This contemporary beach scene reflects the peace and solitude that can be found even when well wrapped up to protect against the elements. You can imagine the sound of the crashing waves and the smell of the salty air.

This mounted wooden panel has been primed and then the painting is built up gradually with layers of oil paint, to create an expressive texture and soft colours, with the frothy waves crashing onto the beach.

Edges of the board are painted white and it can be displayed framed or unframed.
